When you report a claim to Just Insure, you will talk to a live person who will listen to your story about what happened. They may ask you a few clarifying questions and ultimately get the claims process started by setting up a claim in the company's claim handling system and providing you a claim number.

Below are a few steps that are common to the claims investigation process.

  • Your claim is assigned to a professional adjuster who will work with you to get the claim investigation started.

  • We review your coverages so we can explain to you what kind of damages or injuries are covered.

  • If you have Collision Coverage on your car, we can send you a link for you to take photos of the damages and write you estimate, work with your shop, or send an appraiser to inspect the damages to your car. Whether your car is repairable or a total loss, the Just Insure team will ensure you get back on the road quickly.

  • We will reach out to all involved parties and take their statements regarding what happened.

  • Gather police reports, vehicle and scene photos, review applicable state and local traffic laws, and collect other evidence, especially when there is conflicting versions of what happened.

  • If someone claims you are at fault and makes a claim against your liability coverages, it is up to us to investigate and evaluate the claim. Regardless of the outcome, you've got the Just Insure Team behind you!

  • When you are determined not at fault, the last step is to collect the monies we paid for the damages to your car, PLUS your deductible. We will pursue those recoveries for us both and update you on our efforts.

Remember, you always have your personal claims adjuster to call if you have any questions or concerns. Just Insure Claims number is 855) 905-5878.
